Meet Gloria Freeman and Janet Jordan! Between them, Gloria and Janet have over 50 years of nonprofit management and meeting planning experience. They know what it takes to host the perfect event and understand the importance of getting that rave review for a unique and flawless experience...the one they will be talking about for years. They are excited to bring their years of experience to Columbia's Two Gals and a Fork Food Tours as a way to showcase famously hot Columbia as a world-class culinary destination.

Gloria and Janet travel extensively and ALWAYS look for a food tour when visiting a new city. They agree, "It's the best way to see the city and know where to go to eat." On a trip to Seattle in 2013, while enjoying a food tour of Pike's Place Market, the tour guide was so taken by their personalities and obvious food tour experience, he remarked (in his best southern twang), "You two gals should be doing this for a living." And thus, the seed was planted. Upon returning to Columbia and doing their research, "the gals" realized that Columbia desperately needed a food tour option.

Our Mission

The mission of Two Gals and a Fork Food Tours is to entertain and educate locals and visitors alike, to introduce them to our business partners, and to create an appreciation of Columbia, Lexington, and Newberry as world-class culinary destinations.

Two Gals and a Fork Food Tours, LLC was officially launched in May 2014 with a focus on Columbia's  Vista. Food tours in Newberry were added in 2016 and in Lexington in 2018. The reception received from local restaurants, the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Capital City Lake Murray has been amazing, and "the gals" look forward to serving the hospitality community as they grow their business, increase their list of partners, and expand to other areas and cities.
