Besides tasting great foods, our guests learn about the history and culture of the area and the restaurants we visit. Our goal is for everyone to return to these restaurants with confidence and take advantage of the wide range of food and entertainment that Columbia, Newberry, and Lexington have to offer. We recommend taking tours early in your stay so you can return and enjoy these wonderful restaurants at your leisure. Following is just a sampling of the culinary experiences we can offer. Don't see what you want? Call us and let Columbia's Two Gals and a Fork Food Tours customize an event just for you.

Walking and Tasting Food Tour

Whether you are a local resident or a visitor, let us guide you and your group to five famously hot restaurants serving innovative food. You will have opportunities to talk with chefs and owners and hear about Newberry or Lexington's  history, architecture, and culture.  This 2.5 to 3 hour walking adventure allows groups of 10-14 to sample incredible cuisine while discovering what makes Newberry a hidden gem and Lexington one of our fastest growing areas. Larger groups may be possible with some modifications.

Also, Chef Table events are currently available in Columbia's Vista for groups of 10-20 and include a walk around the Vista with one of Historic Columbia's certified tour guides followed by a 4-course meal at one of the Vista's fine restaurants.

Custom tours can be scheduled at a time and day of the week convenient to your group as long as the restaurants can accommodate us and tour guides are available.

The cost for a custom tour includes a $100 non-refundable administrative fee per group of 10 to 14 in Newberry or Lexington or 10 to 20 in the Vista, plus $60 per person with a minimum of 10 guests (or minimum cost of $700).
